Tips For the Update

1. Save the update manager

The file you are going to download now is an update manager.

When you download a file, all you are doing is to copy it from our server to your computers hard disk. The browser can't open this file. So you will be asked to define a location on your computer to save it.

To ensure that you find the file again easily, we suggest that you:

save the file on your desktop if you rarely download files from the

internet.

create a special folder for all your downloads (our preferred solution).


If you are using Internet Explorer you can easily find or open the file after the download. Just make sure that  the checkbox in the dialog informing about the download progress is NOT active.

2. Start the update manager
After starting the update manager it will automatically download only data required for the update to the most recent version. As soon as the download is finished, the update itself will be started.

If the connection to our server is interrupted while the update manager is still running, you can continue downloading where it has been stopped by just restarting the update manager.

You won't have to download any data twice!


Problems concerning a firewall
If your internet connection is secured by a firewall, the update manager might not be able to connect to our server. In such cases you should download the installation as a single file.
